Job summary

Chepstow Racecourse is seeking talented and experienced chefs to join our dynamic culinary team for casual, race-day opportunities. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional service to guests.

You’ll collaborate with our culinary team to manage stock, food preparation and hygiene standards, ensuring consistency and presentation across all dishes during events. Training is provided for Health & Safety and allergen reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a professional kitchen environment.
• Familiar with HACCP, allergen reporting and health & safety regulations.
• Level 2 Food Safety certification or equivalent; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a busy kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals for race-day guests.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistency, quality and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene standards and comply with allergen and health regulations.
• Manage deliveries, stock rotation and handle compliance paperwork.
• Support other kitchen areas to ensure smooth service across all stations.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and guest dining experience.
