Job description

Our Birmingham Cash Centre is looking for a Team Leader - Cash Processors (internally known as RA2 Cash Processors).

Hours: 40 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings, with shift allowances (10% from 18:00 - 22:00, 20% from 22:00 - 06:00).

Our Cash Processors ensure the safe handling and processing of customer money in line with company procedures.

Loomis UK provides cash handling services, including secure safes, cash in transit, processing, ATM management, and delivery services across the UK.

The role

As an RA2 Cash Processor, you will lead the cash processing team, assign tasks, oversee productivity, and ensure accuracy in counting, recording, and reconciling customer deposits using high-speed processing machines. Meeting daily targets while maintaining security, accuracy, and efficiency is essential. Attention to detail and reporting discrepancies are vital.

You should enjoy methodical processes, be confident in communication, possess excellent customer service skills, and work accurately. Some team leadership experience is preferred. You must be able to meet physical demands, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods. Honesty, trustworthiness, teamwork, and adherence to policies are crucial.
