What you'll bring to the team

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Accountant to join our Global Record to Report team at Basingstoke within Corporate Finance. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting.

As a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the business, you’ll support decision-making through accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and a commitment to operational excellence. You’ll also have the chance to lead on process reviews, identify improvements, and help shape the future of our finance function.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting across multiple international legal entities.

• Supervise accounting activities and support team members in the Senior Accountant’s absence.

• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the process to ensure data integrity.

• Partner with stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and ensure audit compliance.

• Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

• Support the Head of Capital Accounting with ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of shared service centre (SSC) and Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels.
• Ability to develop and support others to achieve high performance.
• Critical thinking with a focus on risk, controls, and practical solutions.
