Job description

Join us as R&O Configuration Service Lead at Barclays, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You'll harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionise our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.

To be successful as a R&O Configuration Service Lead, you should have experience with:

  • C-CURE Programming & Commissioning - Certified Levels 1, 2 & 4 within version 3.0 (essential).
  • Genetec SC-OTC-001 - Advanced knowledge required for seamless security system integration.
  • End-to-end experience managing C-Cure & Genetec systems—from programming through to mapping, including expertise in queue management.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Proven experience in Access Control and CCTV.
  • Experience working across multiple time zones, dealing with vendors and teams in different regions.
  • Knowledge of Physical Security infrastructure and experience with technical implementations at an Enterprise level.
  • Knowledge of other Physical Security products / service offerings including mobile building access.

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the bank's systems and sensitive information.

Accountabilities
  • Provision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.
  • Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.
  • Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the bank's infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.
  • Identification of advancements to support innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
  • Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
