We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Test Technician to be part of our Drivetrain R&D Test Department.

Based at our Milton Keynes Campus, our department is responsible for sign off testing of drivetrain assemblies, from single components to full car installations on our state-of-the-art equipment supporting current and future F1 cars.

Reporting to the Test Technician Team Leader, your day-to-day tasks will focus on department requirements including:

  • Routine sign-off of drivetrain components and assemblies following relevant procedures
  • Assembly of rigs and test installations from technical drawings
  • Maintenance and upkeep of dynos, test equipment and the supporting facilities
  • Recording and analysis of routine sign-off test data, communicating results when necessary
  • Following health and safety processes and procedures and updating when required
  • Ensuring business critical paperwork is accurately maintained.

To be successful in this Test Technician role you will preferably have experience as:

  • Technician in F1 or high-level motorsport trackside environment
  • Component test environment for F1, high level motorsport or OEM
  • A flexible working approach and the ability to work within tight timescales.
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving in a technical environment
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and good level of IT skills

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Drivetrain systems
  • Braking systems
  • Hydraulics systems
  • Test rig control systems
