Overview

R&D Technologist (Textile Dyeing) — 45,000 - 47,000 + Bonus + 33 Days Holiday + Company Benefits. Location: Ripley.

This site focuses on developing high-quality flocked floor coverings and is committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable manufacturing practices. You will join a close-knit team, be involved in hands-on R&D, support production, evaluate raw materials, and drive new product developments. The role leads projects from concept through to implementation, supporting both lab-based experimentation and shopfloor production, while solving technical challenges and developing new solutions. The role suits someone with textile dyeing, colourist, or R&D experience who thrives in a fast-paced, varied, and innovative environment.

The Role
  • Leading R&D projects from inception to implementation
  • Evaluating raw materials and supporting production with technical insights
  • Applying expertise in colour theory, dyeing, and colourfastness
  • Operating lab and pilot equipment with adherence to lab protocols
  • 36.5 hours a week
