Job description

A highly innovative leader in R&D tax consultancy is seeking an R&D Technical Assistant Manager to join a fast paced, and highly progressive team to become a future R&D Tax Director. This is an excellent opportunity to move away from a big 4 environment into a flexible working yet highly professional practice where progression is guaranteed.

As the R&D Tax Assistant Manager you will build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service and manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence. You will be based within a core team of R&D Tax Specialists and Corporate Tax Specialists and will be a key client facing representative for the firm. In addition you will work closely with Senior Stakeholders to win work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.

The future R&D Tax Assistant Manager will either be in an R&D Tax role and will have experience of working in an accounting firm. A tax qualification would be desirable but is not essential. Due to the client facing aspect of the role you will be personable and have experience in advising as well as attracting new clients.
