Your new role

As the Associate Director/Manager within this firm’s R&D team, you will be client-facing and lead the technical aspects of R&D claims, conduct interviews, and prepare documentation to support R&D claims. You will work with senior technical and finance staff.

Key Duties:

1. Analyzing technical and cost data from clients to develop robust and efficient R&D claim methodologies.
2. Leading the interview process with technical experts to understand their R&D activities, and summarizing these outputs in documentation.
3. Leading the technical aspects of the R&D claim preparation process within projects.
4. Preparing clear reports for submission to HMRC.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful R&D professional will have a degree in Engineering or Science, with post-graduate experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or scientific role. Experience in leading project teams for both internal and external clients is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams are also required.
