A leading Top 10 accountancy practice is looking to recruit an ambitious R&D Tax Manager to support the growth of their Southern region team. This role will offer excellent exposure working alongside the R&D Tax Partner and experienced professionals within a collaborative national R&D Tax team.

You will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of R&D tax client engagements, helping to deliver high-quality service and assisting in driving the regional strategy forward. This role offers a solid foundation for career progression towards Associate Director and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and submission of R&D tax claims across multiple sectors
  • Work closely with clients to gather technical information and provide clear guidance
  • Support business development initiatives within the Southern region
  • Assist in mentoring junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Collaborate with the R&D Tax Partner and national team to ensure seamless service delivery

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong experience in R&D Tax, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ambitious and motivated to develop into a leadership role
  • Comfortable working in or around one of the Southern hubs
  • Team player with a proactive approach to supporting business growth
