Job summary

Veranova invites applications for an R&D Student placement in the UK. The 3-month program (July 2027 start) offers hands-on experience in solid form chemistry, physicochemical studies, salt/polymorph screening, chiral separation, scale-up and crystallisation development of forms.

You will conduct laboratory experiments, provide analytical support on API molecules, maintain thorough records and contribute to project planning. PPE is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Chemistry or Pharmaceutical sciences based Undergraduate degree and completed 3 years of study by July 2027.
• Have practical laboratory experience.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Comply with SOPs and uphold Safety & Quality Cultures.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and participate in investigative R&D work.
• Provide technical & analytical support by performing analyses on API molecules.
• Contribute to project planning and design of experiments.
• Potentially contribute to writing a scientific article or patent.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports.
