Join us as a Senior R&D Data Scientist in our Motor Retail Pricing team.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze and model insurance data. You will develop pricing models that accurately reflect risk and customer behavior, collaborating closely with actuaries, underwriters, and data scientists on R&D projects. You will also identify new opportunities for data science applications in insurance and mentor colleagues to foster growth and best practices.

You will take initiative, gain diverse experiences, and influence our work positively, making a tangible impact on our customers’ lives. We will utilize your skills where they are most needed and provide opportunities to expand your expertise.

Our hybrid work model combines in-office and remote work, with colleagues spending at least 2 days a week in the office, depending on role and team.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 3+ years of data science or pricing experience within insurance
• Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Experience with insurance pricing or actuarial modeling
• Proficiency in Python (experience with other languages is also considered)
• Experience with cloud platforms like Domino is a plus
• A curious and creative mindset, open to new modeling approaches, and receptive to stakeholder feedback
