About the Role

Roo Repute Ltd is seeking an experienced and innovative Research & Development Project Manager to lead the design, coordination, and implementation of our next‑generation prototype for an AI‑based voice authentication system. The role will focus on managing the full product development lifecycle — from concept to functional prototype — in alignment with ongoing Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) submission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end R&D activities related to prototype design, testing, and validation.
• Manage cross‑functional collaboration between software, AI, and design teams to deliver an offline voice‑based authentication prototype.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, technical reports, and compliance records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Liaise with innovation partners (e.g. DASA) and internal management on funding progress, milestones, and technical deliverables.
• Oversee system integration, model performance benchmarking, and usability testing.
• Supervise small technical and administrative teams to ensure milestones and budgets are met.
• Ensure project alignment with data‑protection, IP, and cybersecurity standards.
• Prepare technical evidence, user documentation, and support material for regulatory or grant submissions.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients in English, Hindi, and Punjabi to support collaboration across multilingual environments.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Management, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Proven experience managing AI, machine‑learning, or prototype development projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, agile methodologies, and quality control.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AI frameworks (Python, TensorFlow, Vertex AI, or similar) is desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Multilingual fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi is essential to support cross‑functional communication and client coordination.
• Ability to operate independently on‑site and manage technical operations from concept through delivery.
