An award-winning electronics manufacturer in South Wales is seeking to strengthen its research and development team with an R&D Project Manager. With secured investment for the next 5 years, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on market growth. The business has a healthy order book and exciting development plans, making it an excellent time to join.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage New Product Development and sustainability projects, coordinating a multi-disciplinary NPD team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead projects involving electrical, software, and mechanical engineering disciplines to ensure successful delivery within schedule, budget, and QMS requirements.
  • Work with technical leads to ensure project requirements are addressed.
  • Create and maintain project plans, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Chair project meetings and provide updates to R&D management and Group Leadership teams.
  • Participate in project tasks as needed, such as Risk Analysis, Usability, and Specification.
  • Input into resource planning and management.
  • Drive the design transfer of new products into manufacturing.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience managing projects.
  • Experience in the medical or electronics sectors is beneficial.
