Location: Taunton (Hybrid Working)

As the R&D Project Manager, you will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers on multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include forward planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Formulate and execute R&D strategies aligned with overall company goals.
2. Oversee R&D projects from initial concept development to final commercialization.
3. Lead, supervise, and mentor the R&D team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
4. Manage budgets, project timelines, and resource distribution effectively.
5. Develop and deliver technical reports, data analyses, and project updates to senior leadership.
6. Cultivate an environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
7. Work closely with sales, marketing, and manufacturing departments to ensure that innovations meet market demands.
8. Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor developments.
9. Ensure all R&D activities comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.

About You

Minimum of 3 years experience working hands-on with either Embedded Software, Electronics, or Mechanical Design.
