Location: Newton Abbot, Devon (On-Site Working)
Salary: Up to GBP65,000 (Depending on Experience)

As the R&D Project Manager, you will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers on multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include forward planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

Key responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute R&D strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Oversee R&D projects from initial concept development to production.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the R&D team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Manage budgets, project timelines, and resource distribution effectively.
  • Develop and deliver technical reports, data analyses, and project updates to senior leadership.
  • Cultivate an environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and manufacturing departments to ensure that innovations meet market demands.
  • Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor developments.
  • Ensure all R&D activities comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
About you:

Minimum of 3 Years Experience working hands-on with either; Electronics or Embedded Firmware

Strong project management skills and experience with product development cycles

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
