Job summary

Imperial Brands PLC in Liverpool is seeking a Process Equipment & Test Technician on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract, to operate advanced manufacturing equipment and produce prototypes in a daytime R&D environment. You will support equipment trials, conduct testing and quality assessments, and help projects progress quickly in a fast-moving FMCG setting, with no production targets or shift rotations.

Qualifications

Experience in the consumer goods or light industrial manufacturing or electrical engineering.
Ability to work independently and in a team with purpose.
Strong communication, time management, reporting, and problem solving.
Plan and complete work to agreed standards.
Drive for learning, continuous improvement, and openness to new ideas.
Open to change with curiosity to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to manufacture and quality assess prototype samples.
Keep accurate Batch Manufacturing Records and other documentation for machine trials.
Develop understanding of machines and materials used in R&D.
Complete planned maintenance activities including machine settings and routine servicing.
Comply with Health & Safety policies and practices.
Provide ongoing support for R&D projects.
