Laboratory Technician Opportunity - Join a Thriving Research & Development Team

This company is a leading producer of coating products. With a global presence and a commitment to sustainability, they are continuously working to exceed customer expectations and positively impact the world around them.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the company's Research & Development team, based in the Bristol area. This is a permanent role and starting ASAP. Salary between £25-28K depending on experience

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new products
  • Developing and maintaining application testing protocols, as well as the maintenance and SOP development of equipment
  • Carrying out daily tasks in the laboratory as required
  • Participating in product development, including formulation and research of new and existing products
  • Interacting with internal and external customers to advance product development
  • Applying your scientific knowledge to problem-solving situations
  • Providing regular updates on project progress and communicating with project leaders

Person:

  • Recent graduate within Chemistry/ material/related
  • Recent experience in an R&D role (industry or placement) with be beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
