A leading consumer healthcare company in Weybridge is offering a 12-month industrial placement for an Innovation Scientist. This role involves supporting the development of new oral health products from initial consumer insights through to formulation. Ideal candidates are in their 2nd year of relevant scientific study and eager to gain practical experience. Benefits include a salary of £27,008 and participation in health and wellbeing programs.

At a glance: Are you a student in their 2nd year at university looking to kick start your career in Innovation Science? The Innovation Scientist in the oral healthcare category contributes to the development of new products from consumer insights, innovation conception right through to formulation.
The Innovation Scientist will support the invention and development of oral care products by developing formulations and/or providing analysis and evaluation of material and products at all stages of the process, considering scientific and timing objectives. You will have the opportunity to work directly with and learn from an experienced team who will support you to reach your full potential.
You are currently studying towards an Undergraduate Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological or related science. You must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.
Role Start Date: July 2026
