In R&D Category you will turn great ideas and insights into products and services that delight consumers, you will experience end to end product responsibility from concept through to launch and beyond. The Germ Protection Antiseptic liquid (ASL) is the R&D function responsible for new and existing product development as well as driving key compliance initiatives for the Dettol ASL & Dilutables segments globally. They work closely with global category marketing teams, supply, procurement, regional/local marketing & commercial teams in order to deliver projects to against a brand development pipeline. The purpose of this role is to assist in advancing and delivering with excellence assigned critical compliance project for ASL as part of a team of 3. The individual will plan in line with project timelines to ensure that all technical tasks are executed to high standards and that key milestones are met.
- Assist in advancing and delivering with excellence assigned critical compliance project for ASL as part of a team of Plan in line with project timelines to ensure that all technical tasks are executed to high standards
- Manage hands on scientific and technical issues on specified projects.
- Deliver projects as per agreed project-specific KPI's and benchmarks by carrying out all laboratory based product development work.
- Build technical knowledge of respective areas of the product portfolio/ technologies and leverage this within day-to-day activities.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of R&D laboratory procedures and best practices (report writing, notebook updates etc.
- Strong ability in interaction with stake holders and influencing skills.
- A good graduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline would be beneficial.
- Experience within Healthcare/FMCG environment
- Results oriented, self-motivated, with solid prioritisation and time management skills.
- Good communication and strong analytical skills with ability to analyse data and solve complex technical issues
