Job summary

CSL Seqirus is seeking an R&D FP&A Analyst to consolidate budgets and forecasts across the R&D organisation and own the planning system, driving clear variance analysis for Finance Partners and R&D leaders.

You will work with Global R&D Finance and FP&A colleagues to improve reporting and drive planning cycles, including month-end results and strategic plans. Hybrid model in Maidenhead or Liverpool.

Qualifications

• A degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
• Some FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience in a multinational or matrixed organisation is desirable.
• Experience administering a financial planning system, including hierarchies, master data and user access.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to explain variance drivers to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools.
• Exposure to R&D or pharma/biotech finance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Consolidating budgets and forecasts for the R&D organisation and supporting planning presentations.
• Analyzing R&D expenses by function, account, and major expenditure to explain drivers of spend and variances.
• Owning the global R&D planning system, including hierarchies, master data, user security, and system issues.
• Reporting actual performance against budget/forecast and supporting cycle reporting.
• Identifying better reports with the FP&A team and contributing to improvement initiatives.
• Handling ad hoc analyses and data requests and backing up the Business Partner team as needed.
