£45,000 salary

8% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (+BHols) & company-wide bonus (approx’ 5%).

New Product Design Engineer job vacancy in the R&D product development design innovation new product design engineering team:

1.Help to design the electro-mechanical configuration of the next generation of a product range already used by over a million people everyday.

2.Be part of the design engineer R&D team of one of the UK’s most successful export success stories.

4.The team like to get the CAD work done quickly and maximise their time hands-on in the inhouse test facility to finesse and finish the product design.

As part of a team; value engineering, specialist product testing, find and evaluate new components, develop next generation technology and ideas.

The ideal background and skills required are based around the following engineering design hard skills coupled with the soft skills of design innovation, team working and proactive mindset.

·Engineering degree, HND or Level 4 Engineering Apprenticeship

·Design engineering 3D CAD drawing skills; creating & updating electromechanical engineering 3D CAD models and technical drawings. Solidworks ideally, but any engineering 3D CAD package is fine.

·Eye for detail and ability to complete designs & documentation on time as part of a team project.

Negotiable Salary £45,000 guideline, 8% employer pension contribution, 25 days off (+BHols) & company-wide bonus often worth around 5%.
