R&D Chemist – Merseyside – Competitive Salary DOE (AE685202)

As R&D Chemist, you will help scale up new products, enhance existing formulas, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale up and translate product concepts into commercially viable offerings
• Conduct research and development to enhance existing and create new formulas
• Perform process analysis, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective actions
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate improvements and ensure quality control
• Conduct chemical analysis and testing to ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage records, documentation, and work with external partners and suppliers

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in a similar role in the beauty or personal care industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of the scaling up process from lab formula to production
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and GMP guidelines
