Job summary

RecXchange is seeking a proactive Section Manager (Quarry) in Congleton, Cheshire. Take ownership of day-to-day operations, lead a frontline team, and deliver safety-focused performance in a busy quarry.

You will report to the Operations Manager, drive efficiency, manage production planning, and ensure compliance with regulations while developing a capable workforce for ongoing career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in quarry/industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of quarry operations and production processes.
• Experience managing budgets and operational performance.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Ability to develop and coach teams to high performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient day-to-day quarry operations.
• Support Operations Manager in achieving objectives and budgets.
• Act as senior site manager in manager's absence.
• Drive continuous improvement across the operation.
• Produce reports on KPIs and performance.
