Job Description:

To operate mobile and static plant safely and properly, as directed by Site Management, with appropriate certification. To undertake general maintenance works as required by Heidelberg Materials and perform other duties on the main processing plant in accordance with Site Management recommendations.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Maintain mobile and static plant in good condition, including refueling, greasing, and cleaning, following manufacturer and Heidelberg Materials recommendations.
2. Operate plant as economically as possible.
3. Complete daily inspection sheets for mobile plant conditions.
4. Report problems or defects to the General Foreman.
5. Complete near miss reports as required by Site Management.

Education and Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 4+ (equivalent to C at GCSE) in Maths and English.
• Good general education to understand and carry out health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations.
• Certification by EPIC to operate mobile plant.
• NVQ Level 2 in mobile plant operations following EPIC certification.
