This key role is responsible for ensuring that all materials and products are safely and efficiently produced and dispatched, within budget, and in line with customer expectations. As well as Frome, the site is easily accessible from Shepton Mallet, Warminster, Midsomer Norton, Bath, Bristol, Yeovil, and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Quarry Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day safe operation of the site. The role focuses on achieving and exceeding production targets, managing costs, upholding safety, health and environmental standards, and leading a motivated and high-performing team.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Quarry Manager will be an experienced leader capable of managing multiple operational teams. You will have a proven ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams, ideally within the extraction or construction materials industry. Knowledge of aggregates and asphalt production is preferred.
Your success will be underpinned by strong communication skills and a leadership style that motivates and inspires. You’ll be confident in managing both direct reports and wider teams to build a culture of engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
