Job summary

D-Wave is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to build and deliver quantum optimisation solutions for customer applications. You will map business problems to D-Wave’s hybrid solvers and quantum systems, create prototypes, and deploy production-ready solutions with delivery leads and developers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Python experience, knowledge of NumPy/Pandas/Scikit-learn, and familiarity with optimization tools such as CPLEX or Gurobi.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a technical field related to the role.
• 5+ years of Python experience in a professional setting.
• Experience working with external customers in a consultative capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver quantum optimisation solutions for customer applications.
• Review business problems and map them to D-Wave’s hybrid solvers and systems.
• Prototype, test, and productionize customer-focused quantum applications.
• Lead technical discussions and translate requirements into actionable designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
