Job summary

Durham University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate on the project 'Quantum networking at telecom wavelengths with Yb qubits'. The successful candidate will develop the modular ytterbium tweezer-array platform and interface with collaborators to enable remote entanglement over telecom fibre links.

You will work closely with Dr Tobias Franzen to realise project goals, contribute to experiments, supervise graduate students, and present findings at international conferences.

Qualifications

• Background in AMO physics, quantum optics, or related fields.
• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong experimental and teamwork skills.
