Job summary

Jobtailor in Cambridge is seeking a highly qualified scientist to join the quantum team. The role involves RF measurements of qubits fabricated in Belgium, extensive access to a dilution refrigerator with measurement equipment, and occasional travel to Japan to collaborate with the quantum group.

You will perform calibration, benchmarking and coherent control studies, analyze data with Python, and contribute to publications and talks.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, engineering or related discipline required.
• Experience in calibration, benchmarking or coherent control of qubits desirable.
• Proven expertise in experimental quantum dot physics for quantum computing would be advantageous.
• Strong programming and data analysis skills (Python preferred).
• Strong collaborative skills and track record of scientific communication (publications, talks, conferences).
• Postdoctoral or industry experience valuable but not essential.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in experimental quantum dot physics for quantum computing
• Strong proficiency in programming and data analysis, experience of Python is desirable
• Strong collaborative skills
• A track record of scientific communication through publications, talks and conferences would be advantageous.
