Job summary

Calibre Search are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to work on water and civil engineering packages at Sizewell Power Station in Suffolk. You will manage day-to-day commercial activities across clean and dirty water packages, from procurement through final account, ensuring costs, change and commercial risk are controlled.

The role suits a QS with civil engineering, utilities or water experience, with the potential to progress to Senior QS or Commercial Management as the project grows and more

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor (or Senior Quantity Surveyor) in civil engineering, utilities or water.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and cost control processes.
• Relevant commercial or surveying qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day commercial management of your packages.
• Work with Project Manager, Commercial Manager and site teams to control costs and change.
• Procurement and subcontract award through to final account.
• Prepare applications and valuations; manage variations and compensation events.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities and report to senior management.
