Job summary

UK Staffing Group Limited is recruiting for a standalone Quantity Surveyor to join a growing specialist construction business in Manchester. This role offers exposure to turnkey projects across UK/Europe, with strong collaboration with Project Managers and the commercial team.

You will manage valuations, variations, and cost reporting, while supporting commercial decisions and relationships with clients and subcontractors. A clear path to Senior Quantity Surveyor exists as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Contractor-side experience preferred.
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts is desirable.
• Experience with valuations, variations and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of turnkey construction projects.
• Prepare valuations and manage variations.
• Advise on commercial risks and opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and commercial negotiations.
• Review project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support contract administration on Design & Build projects.
• Prepare cost reports and assist forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Visit project sites as required.
