Job summary

Saxton Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to relocate to Toronto, Canada, and work on major design and build projects for a Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor. The role focuses on contract review, risk management, and bid analysis within a high-value portfolio.

Candidates should have proven experience on large-scale projects (£25m+), and be willing to relocate to Canada to join a leading contractor with strong order books for 2028–2030 and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale projects (£25m+).
• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS.
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors.
• Willing and able to relocate to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review Prime Contract to determine obligations, liabilities and highlight risk.
• Develop risk register & key contractual obligations from Contract review.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement Change Management procedures.
• Analyse bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career overseas?

We are partnering with our client who is one of North America's major construction contractors ($4bn t/o) to appoint Quantity Surveyors to work on major design and build projects across Toronto.

The Package

• Basic salary of $160K - $170K (£80K - £90K)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Quantity Surveyor on D&B projects (£25m+) for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contactor.
