Quantity Surveyor - Tier 1 Main Contractor

Our client, a well-established international main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a significant £30m refurbishment scheme in Cardiff.

The project is part of a wider regeneration development scheme, delivered on behalf of a respected housing association.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for delivering complex and innovative projects across the UK and globally.

The Role

You will be responsible for the financial management of the project, from procurement to final account, reporting to a Senior QS or Commercial Manager. Your role involves managing cost control, valuations, variations, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of the project
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor cost control and forecasting
• Procure and manage subcontract packages
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and profitable delivery
