Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to deliver social housing refurbishment and decarb works in Runcorn. You will manage cost control, procurement, and CVR processes to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Salary up to £53K plus car allowance and benefits; a degree in QS discipline and experience with main contractors are preferred. This role offers a stable, permanent opportunity with scope to grow.

Qualifications

• Negotiating and communication skills required.
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding.
• Knowledge of CVR processes and cost management.
• Experience with social housing refurbishment programmes and subcontractor procurement.

Responsibilities

• Control all expenditure and cost reporting.
• Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts.
• On-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliers.
• Ensure value for money and financial assessments.
• Manage day-to-day cost control & monitoring & reporting.
• Process sub-contractor payments via application & invoice.
• Attend project and company meetings.
• Ensure timely cash flow management.
• Develop relationships with clients and customers.
