Job summary

Nicholas Associates is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for groundworks projects in the North East. You will take full commercial responsibility from procurement through final account, ensuring value, quality and compliance on busy groundwork programmes.

We seek candidates with strong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills, with proven groundworks experience, ideally residential. You will work both independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment while travelling between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial aspects on groundworks projects.
• Strong negotiation and reporting skills.
• Experience in residential groundworks preferred.

Our client is a well-established Residential Groundworks Contractor specialising in infrastructure civils, earthworks, and plot groundworks.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for the commercial management of groundwork projects across the North East. From procurement through to final account, you'll ensure projects deliver optimum value while maintaining quality and compliance.

We're seeking candidates with strong commercial, negotiation, and reporting skills. Proven experience in groundworks, ideally with a residential focus, is highly desirable, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
