Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a hands-on Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of multiple construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across the region. You will prepare budgets, monitor costs and valuations, and work closely with site teams and clients to drive value and efficiency.

Permanent role with immediate start; driver license required, attractive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or contracting.
• Strong commercial awareness of costs, variations and final accounts.
• Experience across general construction, refurbishment, fit-out or maintenance projects.
• Full UK driving licence due to regional project scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of multiple construction and refurbishment projects.
• Prepare, review and manage budgets, costs and valuations.
• Monitor project performance, variations and subcontractor accounts.
• Collaborate with site teams, clients and suppliers to maintain commercial relationships.
• Support delivery from pre-construction through to completion, with hands-on project management when needed.
