We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join our Housing Maintenance team and help us deliver a wide range of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across the borough.

About the Role

This is a key role within our Housing Maintenance division, where you will:

• Lead a team of surveyors managing a variety of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and building compliance related works/contracts.
• Deliver commercial and project management services from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
• Oversee cost control, valuations, and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet service objectives.

About You

We are looking for someone who can bring:

• Proven experience in project/commercial management within a construction or property environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of building contracts and relevant legislation.
• A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Surveying, Construction, or Commercial Management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Proactive approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use.
