Kier Group is looking for an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join us in our southern region.

As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of our internal, self-delivery MEP business, working across projects in various sectors.

Contract: Permanent – Full Time.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial resources of the assigned project or projects to maximize gross margin.
• Handle contracts and subcontracts placement and control.
• Work within the Mechanical and Electrical Team.
• Oversee schemes ranging from Reading to Southampton.

Daily tasks include:

• Follow procurement strategies.
• Valuate and measure changes.
• Advise on legal and contractual matters.
• Value project and subcontract progress.
• Conduct procurement activities such as subcontract inquiries, tender reviews, and order production.

Candidate requirements:

• Degree or HND/HNC (or similar) in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience.
• Experience in the MEP sector with understanding of MEP systems.
• Knowledge of main contract types like JCT, NEC, etc.
