Job summary

Streamline Search in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility from concept to delivery on multiple projects. You will report to the Commercial Director and drive project success across diverse schemes.

Key duties include owning commercial management across sites, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and leading projects from pre-construction to completion while ensuring financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Four years' degree-qualified or seven years' non-degree experience.
• Strong organisational and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial management of multiple projects.
• Work closely with internal teams and external clients.
• Lead projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Act as a commercial lead, ensuring financial performance and control.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Skills

Proven experience as Quantity Surveyor

Strong organisational skills

Experience managing multiple projects

Driving licence

Education

Degree-qualified with minimum 4 years' experience

Non-degree qualified with at least 7 years' relevant experience
