Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking commercially sharp Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers for its rapidly growing Infrastructure business. You will take real commercial responsibility from day one across high-profile projects, leading cost management, contract administration and NEC contract work.

We value initiative, strong communication, and MRICS status or progression. Opportunities span major programmes with client exposure and clear paths to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or major programmes.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge (Option C preferred).
• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject.
• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills—able to hold a room with clients and interrogate cost reports.
• MRICS qualification or working towards it (supported by us).
• Take initiative, not just instructions.

Responsibilities

• Leading cost management and contract administration across major infrastructure commissions.
• Driving forecast accuracy, budget control, and cost reporting through to final account.
• Managing NEC contracts (Option C experience highly valued) with confidence and precision.
• Proactively identifying and managing commercial risk, change, and cash flow.
• Building trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your career progresses.

What You’ll Be Doing
