Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking commercially sharp Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers for infrastructure projects. You will take ownership from day one and work on major programmes across budgets and contracts.

Opportunities span across our infrastructure business, with clear pathways to senior leadership. Strong NEC knowledge, MRICS or progress toward it, and initiative are highly valued in a dynamic team in London or other major sites.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or major programmes.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge (Option C preferred).
• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject.
• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take real commercial responsibility across high profile infrastructure projects.
• Lead cost management and contract administration for major works.
• Drive forecast accuracy, budget control and cost reporting to final account.
• Manage NEC contracts with confidence and precision.
• Identify and manage commercial risk, change and cash flow.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

We have opportunities across our rapidly growing Infrastructure business for Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers with a proven track record on major infrastructure projects. We encourage applications from experienced professionals at all levels, up to Director.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take real commercial responsibility from day one, working across high profile infrastructure projects and programmes:

• Leading cost management and contract administration across major infrastructure commissions
• Driving forecast accuracy, budget control, and cost reporting through to final account
• Managing NEC contracts (Option C experience highly valued) with confidence and precision
• Proactively identifying and managing commercial risk, change, and cash flow
• Building trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your career progresses

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or major programmes
• Strong NEC contract knowledge (Option C preferred)
• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject
• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills — you can hold a room with a client as confidently as you can interrogate a cost report
• MRICS qualified or working towards it (supported by us)
• Someone who takes initiative, not just instructions
