Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and growing groundworks contractor, who are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Working across a range of projects in London and Essex, this role offers a great opportunity to take ownership of key projects while benefiting from strong career progression and a competitive package.

The Role:

1. Managing all cost and contractual aspects of groundworks and civil engineering projects
2. Preparing and reviewing tender and contract documents
3. Conducting valuations, variations, and final accounts
4. Overseeing procurement, subcontractor payments, and cost control
5. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
6. Liaising with clients, site teams, and senior management

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks/civils
2. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
3. Excellent knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial acumen
