Farrans in Belfast is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. You’ll manage costs, maximise value and minimise risk while partnering with delivery teams to keep projects performing against targets on cost, quality, programme and sustainability.

You will build strong relationships with supply chain partners, manage subcontractor accounts and monitor contracts, while ensuring payments align with terms and budgets. A collaborative, proactive approach is essential.

Qualificações

• Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of modern building techniques, plant and equipment and a project logistics awareness.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related database software.

Responsabilidades

• To achieve the appropriate commercial result for projects through accurate financial reporting.
• Build and maintain working relationships with the supply chain and clients.
• Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, financially and contractually, and monitor progress against the programme.
• Place supply chain orders in accordance with procurement schedules.
• Complete measurements and valuations of work executed, ensuring contract compliance.
• Ensure timely payments to Sub Contractors and Suppliers and manage cash targets.
