An established industry player is seeking an experienced quantity surveyor to join their rapidly expanding team. This role focuses on drylining and partitioning projects, where you will leverage your expertise to produce and price bills of quantity, prepare tender documents, and manage sub-contracts. Your analytical skills will be essential as you conduct financial analyses and respond to commercial changes. Qualifications

  • Proven record in surveying for the drylining industry.
  • Preferably a graduate in Quantity Surveying degree or similar.

Our client is a family-owned and rapidly expanding construction contracting company with an excellent portfolio of projects to date and a very respectable client base. They specialise in suspended ceilings, drylining, and acoustic wall paneling. They are looking to hire an experienced quantity surveyor who must have experience with drylining and working on commercial projects.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced quantity surveyor with expertise in the drylining and partitioning market.

  1. Production and pricing of bills of quantity from drawings and specifications
  2. Meeting agreed targets
  3. Prepare tender and contract documents
  4. Financial analysis of current and upcoming projects
  5. Develop responses to commercial changes
  6. Sub-contract management
  7. Liaise with the project management team

About the Candidate

  1. Proven record in surveying for the drylining industry
  2. Preferably a graduate in Quantity Surveying degree or similar
  3. Wider knowledge of the fit-out industry
  4. Experience with site visits and client-facing activities
  5. Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy, and communication skills in English
  6. Computer literacy in MS Office, especially Excel
