Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager - Infrastructure Projects

Nationwide (Home-based with UK travel) Reports to: Cost Management Director

Your New Role

Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to support the delivery of capital and asset replacement works across a diverse UK infrastructure portfolio. This home-based role involves financial control, procurement, contract management, and stakeholder liaison, ensuring projects meet cost, compliance, and value targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, cost planning, forecasts, and valuations

• Administer contracts and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors

• Support procurement of consultants/contractors and manage financial reporting

• Identify and mitigate commercial risks

• Liaise with SPV Boards and stakeholders, supporting funding requests

• Ensure governance, compliance, and quality documentation

• Contribute to project delivery through both pre- and post-contract phases

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experience in PFI/PPP and infrastructure projects

• HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

• Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge

• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills

• Full UK driving licence
