Qualifications

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS, or relevant Chartered Institute (supported if not attained).
• Experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management within UK infrastructure.
• Proven experience with NEC3/4 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-contract commercial management advice including strategic review of commercial models and contracts.
• Contract administration and review of commercial impacts.
• Managing Change and Risk through EWN’s and CE’s.

Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager

In this role, you will provide pre- and post-contract commercial management advice, including:

• Strategic review of commercial models and contracts
• Contract administration and review of commercial impacts
• Adjudication and advice on Compensation Events
• Managing Change and Risk through EWN’s and CE’s
• Approval of key Subcontracts and project reports
• Review and advice on procurement strategies and supply chain matters
• Processing Applications for Payment and Quotations for Compensation Events
• Leading Commercial/Contract meetings and ensuring Quality Management System compliance

About You

What we are looking for:

• HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law, or similar
• Membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS, or relevant Chartered Institute (supported if not attained)
• Experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management within UK infrastructure
• Proven experience with NEC3/4 contracts
• Passion for infrastructure, sustainability, and quality work
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability
