Our client is from traditional contracting roots, now turning over in excess of £40m a year, comprising affordable housing, commercial, industrial, and private developments. Work mainly involves social housing residential projects ranging from £4-15m.

They maintain traditional values with their own workforce of nearly 50 tradespeople, ensuring high quality and consistency across all projects.

This family-run contractor has been established for over 45 years and is now managed by the 3rd generation. They have very low staff turnover, with the longest-serving Site Manager having been there for 40 years. The workforce is motivated and happy.

The company has smart, modern offices located in a rural setting, which they built themselves.

The Role: Quantity Surveyor

This position is primarily office-based with site visits; sites are within 1.5 hours of the office.

You will join a commercial team of 10 led by an Associate Director.

You will be working on projects ranging from approximately £4m-£15m, mostly social housing contracts under JCT D&B.

The Right Person: Quantity Surveyor

You should be qualified to HNC level with housing experience or main contracting experience.

You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
