Job description

Our client is an established and reputable dry-lining contractor and they are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their existing Commercial team. They specialise in delivering high-end projects; drywall, plastering, partitions, ceilings, fire protection, and insulated external wall and finishing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

The Role:
As the Quantity Surveyor, you'll be a key player in managing project costs, maximizing value, and ensuring financial efficiency across all stages of construction. You'll work closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities

  • Analyze drawings and specifications

  • Manage project financials, from tender to final account

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and payments

  • Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies

  • Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in drylining, SFS, paritions or plastering

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and financial controls

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Proficient in cost management software and MS Office

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
