With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

What we are looking for?

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects that you work on. You will ensure strong cost control, drive profitability, mitigate risk, and maintain and develop excellent client relationships working across multiple ongoing contracts.

Responsibilities for the job role:

  • Maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, estimators and all other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Understand and comply with the prevailing contract(s).
  • Attend internal and external meetings associated with projects.
  • Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of groundworks projects from tender to final account.
  • Undertake regular site visits.
  • Prepare and submit accurate periodic valuations.
  • Liaise with client teams to ensure that payments are received on time.
  • Produce and update accurate cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage and agree change management on projects, including the identification or variations / compensation events, preparing quotations and estimates in accordance with prevailing contract conditions.
