We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Main Civil Engineering Contractor operating across the UK, specializing in various civil engineering sectors with a primary focus on infrastructure, highways, and groundworks projects. The role will be based on projects within Oxfordshire and involves work within the South and Home Counties regions.

Our client is a multimillion-pound contractor with over 25 years of industry experience and a strong reputation nationwide. Successful candidates will join a dedicated team that works closely with clients to understand their requirements and objectives, delivering quality, innovative, and sustainable projects that exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Progressed steadily from an engineering background
  • Experience in civil sectors
  • Chartered or working towards chartership
  • Experience managing on-site staff (engineers, forepersons, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of valuations and payment applications
  • Preparation of cost reports for clients
  • Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • Administration of subcontractor and supplier accounts
  • Contract administration, including change management and register maintenance
