At VIVO, we're seeking a driven and forward-thinking Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting critical defence infrastructure projects that serve those who serve us.
This role involves more than just numbers; it's about leveraging your commercial expertise in a complex, fast-paced environment where precision, value, and collaboration are key. You will be responsible for scoping and pricing voids, ensuring value for money, and maintaining strong commercial control across various high-profile projects.
You will collaborate with operational and site teams, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), and supply chain partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your tasks will include commercial reporting, cost modelling, risk management, and change control, covering the full project lifecycle.
Building relationships, leading continuous improvement, supporting dispute resolution, and mentoring colleagues will be integral parts of your role. To succeed, you should have experience in construction, property maintenance, or facilities management, with knowledge of pricing frameworks, cost control, and financial analysis. A qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience is preferred, especially if you have worked in a military or MOD environment.
